Welcome!
I'm Tara. I am an autistic counsellor and consultant supporting neuro-divergent adults and families of neuro-divergent children.
We can work on any issue of importance to you, including:
-
Trauma
-
Relationships
-
Gender and Sexuality
-

-
Understanding Neuro-diversity
I work virtually from the unceded traditional territories of the W̱SÁNEĆ and lək̓ʷəŋən peoples.

Individual Counselling
Many neuro-divergent people enter counselling with both current struggles and past pain and trauma. Our time together is an opportunity to create safety within yourself and invite healing.
My approach draws on
-
Internal Family Systems
-
EMDR
-
Sensorimotor Psychotherapy
I strive to make counselling sessions accessible, including welcoming folks to be off-camera or to use either text or spoken language. You are welcome to walk, stretch, move, eat, or bring fidget/stim items to sessions. Feel free to take breaks to care for pets, children, and yourself. I invite you to let know about any way that counselling could be more accessible.

Group Support & Connection
Coming Soon
Join me for a 6-week online group to learn, practice, and connect with Autistic folks interested in mindfulness and Internal Family Systems (IFS).
Each hour-long session will include a guided meditation to explore Self and Parts, a short piece of learning on parts work, and an opportunity for small group connection and practice in mindful listening.
This is a safe space, inclusive of LGBTQ folks and those exploring whether they are neuro-divergent. You are welcome to be on or off camera and to participate with text, spoken language or simply by being present. Previous experience with Internal Family Systems is not required.
Interested? Please fill out this form to be notified when the group begins.
